Great House Move has been moving North East homes for 18 years. We're based in Durham, we cover the North East every day, and we run regular long-distance routes to every major city in the UK.
Our mission has never changed: high-quality moves at honest prices, while paying our drivers fair and competitive rates — significantly better than most competitors. Happy crew, careful move. It's not complicated.
Every fixed-price package sends two men and a Luton van, and they're our own people — not a subcontractor found that morning. Bigger jobs get a second van rather than a smaller team.

Lock your date
Pick a real slot from our live diary and secure it with a 30% deposit. It comes off your bill, and if your completion date moves we move with you for £25, as long as we get 72 hours' notice.
We move you
Our own crew arrives on time, wraps and shifts the lot, and sets your beds back up. Balance on completion — card, transfer or cash.
