Small jobs, same crew, same van
A man and a van, when a whole house move is too much
£45 an hour for one of us and a Luton, £70 for two. A 2-hour minimum, the first 10 miles in the price, and the same insurance a full move gets. We carry it — you are not hiring a van and a driver who watches.

What people use it for
- One thing, one trip A sofa, a bed, a fridge, a wardrobe off Marketplace. Two of us and a Luton.
- A flat or a single room A studio, a student room, a box room of boxes. Usually inside the minimum.
- A storage run Into a unit or back out of one. We know the lifts and the corridors.
- The bit the move missed The garage, the loft, the shed — whatever would not fit the first time.
When the fixed price is the better deal
If you are moving a whole home, use the fixed-price packages instead. A studio or 1-bed is £210 however long the day takes, and on a job that runs long that is cheaper than the clock and a great deal less stressful. The hourly rate is for jobs too small to be worth a package, not a cheaper way to move a house. We will tell you which one you want when you ring.
