Yes. Goods in transit are insured to a policy limit of £10,000 per vehicle load, and we carry £1,000,000 of public liability cover. If a single item is worth more than that, tell us when you book and we'll arrange the right cover rather than find out afterwards.

When you book online you pay a 30% deposit by card to lock your date — it comes straight off your final bill. The balance is paid on completion by card, bank transfer or cash. Prefer not to pay online? Book a callback instead — no payment is taken until your quote is confirmed.

Moving your date costs £25 and needs 72 hours' notice or more. Your deposit moves with you and still comes off the final bill. Before exchange of contracts we will hold a date without taking a deposit at all, so a completion that slips costs you nothing.

Yes — large items like wardrobes, beds and sofas are £20 each, and small ones like tables, chairs and desks £10. Add it when you book online, or ask on the phone.

Blankets and straps are always free. Our full packing service includes all materials — 1-bed £250, 2-bed £375, 3-bed £550, 4-bed £750 — or grab a materials-only bundle from £45, delivered.

Yes. The figure you're quoted is fixed in writing before we start, and nothing is added on top of it.

Fridays, Saturdays and month-end dates add 15% to the labour part of the price; Sundays and bank holidays add 20%. It's the busiest part of the diary and the honest way to keep midweek moves cheap. Move Monday to Thursday, mid-month, and you pay the standard rate.

On a local move, extra trips cost you nothing — the fixed price covers however many runs it takes. On a long-distance move, a second van is £350 if you want the whole thing done in one trip; otherwise the distance is simply charged again for the second run.
